Dedicated to handheld play this is the console for gamers on the go. The Nintendo Switch Lite is a compact, lightweight addition to the Nintendo Switch family, with integrated controls. It's a smaller version of the Nintendo Switch but you can enjoy many of the same features on this console and comes in 4 colours Yellow, Grey, Turquoise and Coral.
The Nintendo Switch Lite supports all Nintendo Switch software that can be played in handheld mode. It's great for people who have lots of opportunities to play outside, and also for anyone who wants to play online or local wireless multiplayer with friends or family who already own a flagship Nintendo Switch console.
As a dedicated handheld gaming device, Nintendo Switch Lite does not support output to a TV.

Any game that supports Handheld mode will work with the Switch Lite.
You can expand the storage on the Nintendo Switch Lite Handheld Console using a microSDHC or microSDXC up to 2TB, however this does not come with a memory card.

The Nintendo Switch does not need WiFi to play games unless the games are online games. You will need to have internet access to set up the console and also to download any games from the Nintendo Eshop but if you are just playing Switch game cartridges that can be done without needing to use WiFi.
