The supplier has advised the following for the Scion Soetsu`s Abstract Tree Design Wallpaper - Green:

It is washable. They add the following info though.

"For use in areas like behind a cooker in the kitchen, we recommend using one of our vinyl wallpapers as they achieve a 'scrubbable' finish and protect the paper from water splashes. If you wish to use a standard or non-woven wallpaper, it can be made more durable with sufficient surface preparation and the application of a surface sealant/varnish, such as the Polyvine Acrylic Sealant/Varnish. However, please test a small area first to ensure there is no drastic shade change to the wallpaper.

Please note, we do not recommend hanging wallpaper in an area that would come directly into contact with water splashes, such as behind a sink or cooker. Additionally, it is advisable to keep the room well-ventilated to avoid damp and mildew."

(We’d also add here that some types of cooker have a "hot zone" around them for safety where you cannot have any flammable materials, e.g. wallpaper, wood, plug sockets, wiring, or overhanging items, etc., within a certain area close to the cooker. As you've not stated the size or type of cooker, we cannot give exact advice as the size and height of this area does vary between cooker types. We’d advise that you seek suitable professional advice and check the hot zone requirements for your own cooker before considering the installation of any wallpaper close to it as it may very likely not be suitable for being put there. If in any doubt at all, please do not put any wallpaper behind the cooker).
