The right size for the space and it all fitted together correctly. I would have liked the base to feel a bit more robust but for what I need it for hopefully it will be fine.

I brought this for my sons toys, the outer parts are solid quality however the bottom is like the back of low quality wardrobes so be careful not to overload it.

Solid piece of furniture
After a bit of a rigmarole over a missing part, which Argos sorted out pretty quickly, the box was put together with little difficulty. It seems strong. looks smart and does the job. The only thing I would fault is that the bottom is on the flimsy side, it would have been better in the same material as the rest of it.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Marston XL Shaker Blanket Box: No, the box is not designed as shoe bench, the max weight limit for top panel is 70kg.
