Not working as I would wish
Bought this a couple of days ago and it won't set up: I have connected the doorbell to my internet, I have connected my chime to the internet but I can't persuade them to pair with each other. Faulty unit? Don't know, awaiting specialist advice.

Worth the money to catch the culprit!
I am pleased I bought this. It caught the psychotic perpetrator who had been slashing mine and my neighbour’s tyres at 2 in the morning after only 2 days of use :) They are now in custody — a sad story. Although it should come with a flat patress so that it stands proud of the brick wall surrounding the front door, as this obscures some of the picture. My neighbour has the same model, and the picture is similarly obscured. I only wish the 256gb SD card had been cheaper. I blame AI and data centres for the higher chip prices :/

Great doorbell camera, set up was really easy and took about 10 mins, image is really good and clear enough to pick out logos on clothes, I set the sensitivity to about 50% and that is plenty for what I need, and the best bit is you don't need a subscription like some others, would definitely recommend to this camera for the price

Seems ok but only more time will tell.
This is my first entry into the security video camera world and, after 3 days, I am still coming to terms with it. Sometimes I think that I have mastered it and then I am all at sea. The resolution seems to be good and the range is fine. Only more time will tell.

The best video bell I've ever bought
I upgraded from the D200 which kept on showing the "network unstable" error message so it was impossible to view live feeds or answer doorbell calls, I'm glad to say that the D210 has fully overcome this problem, connection is fantastic even when out and about on mobile data, and the resolution is brilliant, I have it on Auto but it's pretty much 2K all the time, the battery seems to have improved dramatically in this new version by a country mile, I installed it just over a month ago and it's still on 85% after MANY notifications, the good thing too is that you can set zones of where you want to record and the plug in chime with MANY sounds is a very nice little bonus, you can have it at the back of the house so you will always hear the doorbell. Personally, for the money, this is MILES ahead of Ring because it has localised recording so you just pop in a micro sd card and wave goodbye to monthly subscriptions. This is an all rounder and I DEFINATELY recommend it. Easy set up, good imaging, great battery life, and it's most probably the nicest looking doorbell on the market.

For camera live view, once the camera is set up in the Tapo app and connected to the internet, you can watch it for free (no extra cost).
For camera playback, there are two recording types:
1. Tapo Care Cloud Recordings: Each Tapo Camera offers a one-time 30-day free trial of Tapo Care (starts when enabled in the app), which provides 30-day cloud video history and advanced features. You can use the same TP-Link ID for the app on multiple devices, or you can use the Device Sharing feature to share access with other separate accounts, allowing up to 5 accounts to access cameras.
