This 2 camera pack offers flexible storage with microSD card support up to 512GB for local recording without fees, or Tapo Care cloud storage. I've had these now about a week and they are great. The picture is clear. I've got it set to record and download and I feel much safer knowing the cameras are picking everything up. They were easy to install. Took about half hour to put them both up so yes it was a good buy.

The Tapo C500 requires a wired connection to an electrical supply — it runs via a DC power adapter (plugged into a standard 100–240V mains socket). It does not support solar panel charging or battery power, so the concern about solar performance in snowy weather does not apply here — a wired power connection is the only option for this camera.
