[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was keen to try this as have never used an epilator before. I charged for about an hour and I think it actually charged quicker than that. The Instructions were basic and slightly confusing with different models being mentioned with different attachments when this version had none. The epilator sits well in your hand, isn’t heavy or cumbersome to use. I used after a shower so my legs were wet with no moisturisers etc. starting to use and I anticipated it would hurt but was surprised that it didn’t was a bit uncomfortable on longer hairs (I left my legs for a couple of weeks to really try the epilator out properly) but not overly painful and it seemed to be working well. The light is helpful, but you still need to be in a well lit room as is easy to miss some hairs otherwise. Overall was impressed, I will see how long between shaving I can wait as with a razor stubble is noticeable in a couple of days. The battery lasted and showed no signs of running out so thought that was good. Overall a great alternative to using a razor, not painful and quick and safe to use.

Comfy, a bit painful but worthy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Silk-èpil feels really comfy in the hand and is super easy to control. You can use it wet or dry, which makes it perfect for a quick shower or a relaxed bath. It’s a bit painful at first, especially if you are not used to epilating but it soon get easier the more you use it. It’s sturdy, reliable and easy to keep clean and it leaves my skin silky smooth every time. It charge in about an hour and once is fully charged you get plenty of cordless time. It also has 2 speed setting so I can adjust it depending on my comfort level

Stingy but effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasnt sure what to expect before using this as ive used epilators in the past, but the head is fairly gentle on the skin and the light makes it easier to see the little fine hairs. Something I did like is thats its cordless and rechargeable so I can use it under running water which does make it more comfortable when first using it. It does sting a little as its pulling hairs from the root but I wouldn't say its agony and the more you use it rhe more you get used to it Overall id say its great for longer lasting hair removal however its not fast so if your in a rush its not ideal. Also afte eachr use it does leave little red bumps on the skin but they do disappear after a few hours leaving skin really smooth

Long lasting smooth skin

Great device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this epilator from Brown. It has a nice sleek shape, comfortable to hold. It’s very easy to use. You have to charge it with the provided cable and it’s ready to go! One button, two speeds. You can remove the head and attach different ending if have any. There’s a little brus for cleaning the hair. Device itself works really well. It removes hair nicely and the don’t grow back immediately. After consistent use I don’t have to shave my legs for about 3 weeks. Very convenient. The battery lasts for a while too which is a bonus. You can use it on dry or wet skin. I love it!

Give it a try, it’s a great little gadget!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first time using an epilator and I was, I have to admit, a tad nervous. I have fibromyalgia and so feel pain sometimes just by touch alone but wanted to give it a try as I hate having to shave when I’m abroad as it dries my skin. First of all I really liked the weight and shape of this, I could manage it in the shower even with wet hands and as someone who has arthritic hands that’s a real positive. I made sure the hairs on my legs were quite long as I assumed it would make it easier for the hair to be “plucked”. After a couple of false starts because I was being a wuss I managed to, quite easily, do one side of my leg and with surprisingly very little pain. In fact it was pain free but gave a kind of tingling effect which wasn’t unpleasant. It definitely removed the hair completely and so I continued to do rest of both legs. Got a bit nervous again around the knees but overcame it and was actually impressed with results. I’m going to do a dry shave next time but I say to anyone, like me, who is a bit nervous about epilators, give it a try. It has a gentle mode which is what I started with and honestly the outcome is smooth legs and no nicks or cuts. Will see how long they stay smooth for but this will definitely be in my pre holiday prep bag now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This epilator being cordless makes it very convenient to use anywhere in your home , and can be used in shower too as it’s waterproof which I love. It is a bit uncomfortable at first but once you get used to it , it gets better. Cuts are very precise and gives nice smooth hairless skin for a few weeks.

Easy to use and maintain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s my first time using an epilator and I always imagined hair removal would be extremely painful. I know the brand Braun from reputation so I had faith in it already. It doesn’t take long to charge and battery lasts long. The epilation process is quick and for first timers like me, the hair removal didn’t feel as painful as if I use wax for example. Definitely something to get used to and I found the shorter the hair the less uncomfortable it is. In terms of cleaning, it’s easy to rinse the heads and use the brush that comes with it to brush through any hair.
