But once you have used it once it gets easier and less painful it’s so handy and leaves your skin smooth , great to do before a holiday! It’s really effective and can be used anywhere , comes in a handy bag to carry round it take away and it as really easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrading my epilator was definitely overdue so I was thrilled to receive this. It has everything one could want and more . The travel bag is so convenient and adds a luxurious experience to the epilator. It charges quickly and the battery life lasts well. The pain is definitely worse than my previous epilator so it takes some getting used to. I haven’t been able to tackle the under arm area yet but legs and arms are bearable. My only issue is that it does miss hairs which means I have to go over the area a couple of times which causes some irritation. I think it’s great but a cheaper alternative also does the job (though with this you don’t need to buy a separate electric razor !)

Not painless, but manageable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mixed feelings on this for a hair removal device. I love the fact it can be used on wet or dry skin. My mistake may have been using it on dry skin first, as I found this to be uncomfortable. However when I showered and had wet legs (still in the shower) it was a lot more pleasant. It doesn’t hurt, but it’s not the nicest thing in the world (it is ripped hair out, so maybe to be expected) but it did get better, maybe I just got used to it. The results definitely last compared to standard shaving and it’s definitely better than waxing (no thank you!) The epilator itself is stylish and easy to use. The flexible head makes it simple to move around my body. I like that it’s cordless and after a charge I’m no tethered to the plug. Will stick with it for now and hopefully a nice smooth appearance ready for the summer.

It's fitted with 40 microgrip tweezers to catch even the most shortest hairs that can't be caught with wax. The handheld cordless device is fitted with a smart light and has 3 modes: 1 is power mode for fast results,2 is a gentle mode for sensitive areas, and A is a smart touch mode that you can control speed with pressure applied. You can use the epilater on dry or wet skin. If it's your first time using an epilater, I would advise using when bathing or showering to open the pores and make the experience a little more comfortable.I won't lie it can be quite painful on certain body areas and if you have corse black body hair like me be prepared,but the first time is always the worst and it does get easier with regular use because the hairs grow back finer.The Epilater is fairly lightweight and not too heavy that it causes arm fatigue,it has an easy grip handle for comfort & control its also the perfect size for travelling with and comes complete with a shaver & trimmer head as well as a skin contact cap,charger lead, and case. It's by far the best epilater i have used. it's versatile, durable,and very efficient, and removes the shortest of hair from the roots with results lasting around 3-4 weeks for me.

Small, but powerful hair removal device.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially when this product arrived, i jumped straight in which was a mistake. Read the instructions first. When i first used it thought it was painful, but that’s my fault. I did not know you until reading you should shave first and then after a couple of days use the product. The difference was less painful, less intense and just overall a much better experience. It does take a while to get used to especially if you aren’t used to these types of hair removal tools. I do still prefer using it on wet skin rather than dry because it feels more comfortable to me. The product comes with a couple of items including the bag which in my opinion is absolutely gorgeous. It takes a while to charge up, but once fully charged I haven’t needed to re-charge after 3 uses. It’s a little bit noisy, but no much difference to an electric shaver. It’s really easy to clean and wipe away old hair. For reference though I have only tried this on my legs. I’m not sure I would use it for sensitive areas just yet until I fully feel at ease. It doesn’t take long to remove hair and hair definitely grows back smoother and less itchy compared to using a normal razor. I liked that it was able to fully flex around tricky areas such as the knees and ankles. So far I have used it far less than I would reach for a razor so that’s definitely a benefit. Overall it’s a great effortless way to remove hair in the comfort of your home.

Having looked into this, the battery is rechargeable with a cable. This is a 2 pin cable, the adaptor is not included.

The suppliers have advised that this Braun Silk-epil 9 Flex 9-041 3D Wet & Dry Cordless Epilator can be used on the face. However, they have said to avoid using it near the eyes or on very sensitive skin, such as around the eyebrows.
The suppliers have also advised that a facial cap is included that makes it suitable for facial use.

I have used it on my chin for very stubborn short hair and it did not leave any marks. Probably not good for the rest of the face though. Might be a bit too harsh.
