Masterpiece of a game
The remastered campaign was intense and cinematic, with a grounded story that actually made me care about the characters. Some missions were genuinely unforgettable , such as the sniper mission in Pripyat. Perfect for PS5, graphics are insane. Remaster Black Ops 1 now pls

Still incredible.
There isn’t really much else to say past that headline. This game really is still incredible. The campaign is an absolute blast to play through. Sure, there is some out-datedness that lies within the core gameplay, and the AI can get a bit quirky at times. But the cinematic sequences, fantastic voice acting, immersion and depth naturally create an all-timer of a product. I didn’t spend much time in the multiplayer mode but it is great. The gameplay is very old-school, which is great since that’s all this game needs to be: a remaster of the old-school game. The lootbox system is very gimmicky and poor, and the ui can be off-putting, but nothing really de-railed me from the fantastic multiplayer gameplay. Overall, this is a brilliant product that does exactly what it needs to do and, although there is definitely still an outdated feel to its gameplay and design, it’s still quality fun. Definitely worth it if you are a fan of the franchise, especially with the frequent discounts of this game.
