About this product
This retractable reel washing line creates 30m of drying space for your laundry without taking over the garden. It holds up to 25kg of washing, so you can hang a full load outside and let the fresh air do the work. The lines retract when you're done, tucking away neatly so you're not left with droopy lines cluttering up the space. You can even detach the reel from the wall and store it indoors when it's not needed, which is handy if you want to keep things tidy or protect it over winter.
The two extra strong PVC central pole lines have thick nylon cores inside, so they won't sag under the weight of wet clothes. There are Sure Grip line locks that keep everything taut while your washing dries. It's ideal for gardens, patios or balconies where you want proper drying space but don't want a permanent fixture. Great replacement!
Bought this to replace one that was purchased 10 years ago, and no longer operated correctly. I could tell right away that the new one was a little more rugged than the previous one, it could last longer than the previous one. Easy to fit.

Third one of these in 8 years, as any line will stretch after a time. Glad to see they have strengthened the line wrap around lugs on the bottom of the unit. Can’t really fault them for the money. Long enough, sturdy enough and good line thickness. Retraction is easy and stands up to all weathers as not a lot to corrode.

Yes just screw in a hood so that the line can be hooked on to it. That is how I have mine.
