Very disappointed the light doesn't switch off when the radiator has reached the temperature, as stated in the instructions. For such a low-tech item and for the price, I would have liked this to be a feature as it commonly is. It makes very difficult to work out when it's hot or not, while on, without touching it, which in my opinion is a safety concern, above all if children are around. It is also difficult to work out the settings, because you might feel hot/cold at any point but not aware if the radiator is warming up or not and how long for or how many times, so to further adjust the temperature. I consider this a serious design flaw for how simple the design is. At least it should be highlighted so people know before buying.

Works well in small room
Used this radiator to add additional heat to an en-suite room for winter. Powered it up for about 20 mins and then unplugged it before moving it into the en-suite to continue to radiate heat. Worked well for me. The wheels make it easy to manueurve and the controls are easy to use. Worked well for me.

very good thing.
It's very good when you have one of these at home, a radiator and the house is warm, I wish everyone to get one of these, it's a very good thing🤗👌🥰

Reasonable Compact heater
Functional enough, puts out a reasonable amount of heat for its size. Delay in being able to use as required to be upright for a period before use, and needed to be turned upside down in order to fit together. Design means it takes up less floor space than most, but height means it can be knocked, but is generally pretty stable.

Happy with this product
This is a decent little heater. I have no radiators in my studio flat and this small heater definitely helps a lot. It’s a nice size too. I’m happy with my purchase.

I came here as mine does the same. You can hear it click when you dial it back but, the light stays on. I am therefore assuming that the instructions are wrong and the light does actually stay on as I can hear it click on and off so assume it is coming on and off but with the light staying on.

Hello Betty,
I can advise the following for the Bush 1.5kW Oil Filled Radiator:
It's advised to be conscious when using this to avoid fires.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Using a smart socket I can confirm Setting 1 is approx 630W, Setting 2 is briefly 925W, Setting 3 is briefly 1.5 to 1.6kW...
HOWEVER PLEASE BE AWARE even with the THERMOSTAT still ON at MAX ...
..after roughly 5 or 10 mins setting 2 drops to zero 0W and setting 3 drops to 630W.
Argos Bush support say this is how it is supposed to behave.
It would seem the unit is NOT capable of sustaining settings 2 or 3 for anything but a very brief period, IRRESPECTIVE of the THERMOSTAT setting.

Hello Dotty D,
Our supplier has confirmed that this Bush 1.5kW Oil Filled Radiator does heat up gradually and does not blow any hot air.
Thank you for using Q&A
Beckys answer is wrong. It would be correct if the heating element was on all the time, but it wont be. The element heats up the radiator until the set temperature is reached and then it will shut off. As the radiator cools the element will turn on again and this cycle will continue.
To figure out the cost you need to know how many minutes in an hour the element is actually on which in turn depends on things like the size of the room being heated, how you set the controls, and ambient temp.
Hello,
Bush 1.5kW Oil Filled Radiator:
If the wattage of the product is 1kw. It will take 1kw per hour (kw/h). Changes will depend from supplier to supplier. For instance if your electrical cost was 20p per kw/h, it will cost 20 p per hour on maximum power to run. I can see the product has a heat output of 1.5kW.
Thank you for using Q&A.
