sturdy
Bought these as I struggle to get out of the bath! Haven't found someone to put them up for me yet, but they seem good quality, well made and heavy. I'm sure they will be very well used once I've actually got them up

Hello There.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Aidapt White Grab Rails - Pack of 3:
We do not have this information however, for fitting we suggest that for sound brick and block that a minimum screw length of 50mm x size 10 is used with a suitable rawl plug and screws.
Never drill through pre-stressed concrete to install the solo easigrip product.
Always check the type of fixing you are going to use on this substrate for their compatibility
When attempting to fix to plasterboard or stud and lathe and plaster, we suggest that you check the position of the studs and span them with a suitable timber plate of a minimum thickness of 40mm x 150mm high, securing the plate to the stud. After ensuring the soundness of the studs (using a suitable counter sunk screw) fix your grab bar to the timber plate.
Never install any grab bar or grab rail directly onto plasterboard, MDF, chipboard or other composite material. This will seriously compromise the safety of the user.
Thank you for using Q & A.

Hello MRS DIY,
The supplier has advised the following for the Aidapt White Grab Rails - Pack of 3:
The bar itself can take a pretty heavy weight but this is "all determined by the fixings and the surface area" the grab rail is attached to. So it'd depend on how it's fixed to the wall, on the type of wall, and the fixings used to hold it there.
I hope this helps.
