About this product
The Vax Steam Clean Multi gets your floors and surfaces spotless using nothing but water. It heats up in just 30 seconds and gives you a good 15 minutes of continuous steam per tank, which is plenty for a few rooms before you need to refill the 0.33l tank. The angular floorhead makes it easy to get into corners and along skirting boards, and it works brilliantly on sealed wood, tile and laminate floors, plus carpets and rugs.
The clever bit is how it converts into a handheld steamer, so you're not stuck doing floors all day. You can tackle counters, taps, tiles, ovens, windows, mirrors and upholstery without switching products. At around 2.1kg, it's lightweight enough to carry around the house without any fuss. The 5metre cord gives you plenty of reach, and the continuous steam output runs at 12g per minute, which is enough to shift grease and grime without leaving surfaces soaking wet. It uses water only, no chemicals needed, which is handy if you've got kids or pets around.

Disappointed. It doesn’t clean as well as I hoped. I found myself reverting to manual wiping with a rag. So far I’ve only used two of the heads. The first is the rounded brush and the bristles became bent already after cleaning the kitchen tiles. The second is the one with the microfibre cloth which once has turned brown leaves surfaces dirty. To keep the steam going, you have to continue to press the button so can be tough for arthritic hands. The main body feels good quaity though the heads seem cheap. If you’re cleaning surfaces, it can be heavy. Unfortunately because I was too keen to try based on the good reviews, I kept giving the product a chance and it’s now too late to return. I suppose I can still use it mainly as a steam mop and it might work well with that… but as a surface cleaner, it’s not very nice.

Excellent small steam cleaner
Easy to use and ran for longer than I needed to deep clean my sofa upholstery. The sofa had started to get smelly and nothing worked until I steam cleaned it! Preheating didn't take long at all. Not very heavy and easy to turn the steam on and off as needed.

Steam cleaner
I have never had a steam cleaner but was recommended this. It is great. I have used it on tile floors and on carpets to refresh them (I have a dog!). Very impressed with cleaning but also light to carry around. The price is excellent and prompt delivery. Would highly recommend this.

Yes this can be used to clean windows and showers.
To use as a handheld:
Plug into mains, turn the dial to ‘on’
position. The red light will illuminate to indicate power on.
To produce steam squeeze the trigger in short bursts. Don’t hold the trigger
continuously to prevent over wetting. Allow 30 seconds for steamer to warm up. No sound will be heard until trigger is pressed. No steam will be visible until after 30 seconds. Twist the steam control dial to
desired setting.

Whilst I don't have direct measurements of the machine. The boxed size is (in cm) 69 x 25.8 x 14.
When boxed, the machine doesn't have the handle attached, so it is likely to be slightly smaller than above, to allow for the packaging in the box.
