The Bemis Upton toilet seat with patented Ultra-Fix and a soft close feature is designed for universal pans. Adjustable to fit most toilets. Ultra-Fix is a patented fixing system that doesn't loosen and is quick to install. The bottom of the nut snaps off at the optimum tightening torque, locking the seat down perfectly tight.

Bought this recently, very easy to install, seems to fit well. Soft close is a little slow but that’s fine. It’s a lavatory seat, not much more to say really. I am happy with it.

Bought this a week ago or so to replace one I already have. These are easy to put on. And the slow close design is great..even though the lid is a tad flimsy... I don’t think it’s worth the original price though, better to get when on sale.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Bemis Upton Toilet Seat with Ultra-Fix - White.
Once fitted, the Ultra-Fix system is designed to keep the seat secure and prevent loosening.
To remove for cleaning, simply open the seat and lid fully, press down to release the locking mechanism, and lift the seat off the hinges. This allows you to clean around the hinges and toilet easily. To reinstall, align the seat and press down until it clicks back into place.

The bushing is placed onto the bolt with the flat side up first so that the fins are at the bottom and these are what lock into the Ultra-fix nut.

The bolts are not long enough, requires 60mm instead of 50mm , l had to buy bolts separately, this toilet seat is great but shame about the fittings provided, those people designed the products are not very bright indeed ! Hopeless and useless ! I should not have to to go and buy fittings separately right ?

The lower portion of the nut shears off when the proper tightness is reached, so it's always perfectly tight with no excess product. We do not have longer bolts available to purchase.
