This mains powered single speed, powerful 45w rotary motor animal clipper is perfect for cutting any type of pet hair and reduces pull on the coat. Operating at 2400rpm with low noise and vibration, a fan cooled motor drives the easy care, high performance 1.8mm steel, snap-on blade through any coat type. The lightweight, ergonomic, non-slip finish clipper is simple and easy to use. The kit includes 3 stainless steel attachment combs (3, 10 & 16mm) for variable cutting lengths, 118ml oil and storage pouch. Additional blades sold separately.

Great for 10 minutes!
This was brilliant for ten minutes cut straight through my bichons hair. Then nothing wouldnt even cut with the guard off. I returned the clippers and bought a cheaper pair.

Excellent for thick curly coats
We bought this to replace some standard clippers we have. We've got a cockerpoo so the hair is quite thick and curly. These clippers are perfect - all metal so no snapping of the plastic teeth. In hindsight should have got a battery set, but these are great. Definitely recommend.

Worst clippers I’ve owned!!!!!!
I’ve had other clippers in the past that worked brilliantly on labradoodle hair bought these when I needed to replace some old clippers thinking they would be really good as stated that they were for all hair types including thick curly and wavy fur but from the second you start to use these they pulled even though they had been oiled!!!! My dog hasn’t even got particularly thick fur and only wavy they were shockingly bad so bad I had to stop cutting my dogs fur as she cried something she has never done when clippers before and normally isn’t bothered by clippers at all and I’m hoping won’t be when I tidy up this awful cut. The clippers left the fur very uneven as well. I’m not a professional groomer but being an ex hairdresser I know when clippers are good or terrible like these and comparing them to cheaper clippers I’ve had in the past these are terrible considering the price compared to other dog clippers that worked brilliantly far far better! I could not honestly recommend these to anyone!

Great time saver
Got these clippers to replace an old set. Wow they are so much better. Cut the time it takes to trim dogs by at least half. Dogs stand still better as quieter and cut quicker with the metal heads. Would recommend these for smoth coats and long wolley coats.

Love this my dog has always been a fraid of the groomers due to all the tromer befor i rescued her so thought i would give it a go myself being a hairdresser its nearly the same so seen these and was ok after reading up on them ill buy. They are so quiet and smoth running she didnt freak out but sat quiet we jad a few brakes but if your looking for a clippers for your dog then 100% go for these

Hi Pip, the blade on this clipper is large so this depends on the size of your dog and how far you want to get into the pad as it would not be idea on a small dogs paw pads. It will be suitable for tidying up the top of the paws but to get into the paw pads I would recommend purchasing a trimmer that is designed for this purpose. This clipper comes with a 10 blade.
They are unable to comment about the Oster A5 comb as they do not manufacture that item and will not have tested it to see if it fits
