About this product
The Microchip Pet Feeder is ideal for petowners who have more than one pet as it prevents food stealing. The feeder reads a pet's microchip as it approaches and if the correct pet is detected the lid opens before closing again when they move away. The feeder is perfect for overweight pets or those on special diets and also stops children and dogs from getting another pet's food. Battery C type is needed as this is not included.

Well worth the money
Be sure to register the warranty as the company have a great customer service. Once registered as them for a good to stop your cat/s access from behind. When cleaning ONLY use a barely damp cloth, too wet and it gets cross! We've been a two cat household for many years with various rescue cats, they have all had different dietary needs and medications in their food or allergies so these feeders have been a godsend! The additional bonus is that it keeps flies off the wet food in the summer.
For the price of this thing, I think they’re being a bit tight not supplying batteries, so don’t forget to buy 4x C Pretty straight forward, but I’ve got the most scaredy-cat in the world, so I’m still in training mode, here’s a tip put a couple of cat treats on shelf at front, this gets him/ her close to trigger door, they then proceed to eat food, also alter delay time, then adjust back when cat gets used to it moving, it says you can’t use rechargeable batteries but some appear to be using
Good for a feeder
2nd one now in 2 years, we need it for our cats as one steals food, the design is hard to clean. Only change the batteries 3 times a year. The only microchip feeder available so this is why we use this brand.
Many Thanks for your question,
The SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder comes with one single bowl and one split bowl.

This does not come with split bowls.
Hope this helps!

Unfortunately not. I have two of these for a few years now, and I cannot recommend highly enough.
One of my cats is greedy and the other is on a special diet and these have been a lifesaver. But having a timer or the ability to control remotely would be brilliant as the cat on a special diet also must not have too much food in one sitting, which means if I go out for the day I have to rush back to feed him.
Batteries last about a year, even though one of my cats keeps going up to it and opening. Also reliable, never had any problems with breaking down or not opening.

Unfortunately the Microchip Pet Feeder does not have a timer function and is designed to allow cats to graze throughout the day.
Hope this helps.
