Excellent for encouraging experimentation
The Marble Run was bought for a four year old boy, and I have been amazed at the fun he has had playing with it over the last few weeks. It really is possible for him to build it higher than he can reach. It does encourage him to think and plan his layouts, and the ease of modifying the layout encourages him to try different arrangements. He is quite careful, and I can imagine that some of the pieces could be damaged if mistreated. Mostly he does not need any assistance building a layout.

We do not currently includes marbles separately in our range, but these can be purchased in a variety of stores.

Chad Valley Marble Run 543/9267 The marbles that come with this item are plastic 14.5mm. Other marbles of this size would be ok to use. Anything bigger may get stuck.

Yes, though I found it easier to copy the picture on the box. The kids however love making up their own design!
From what I can remember it is around 6-8. But these are NOT glass marbles. Just little plastic balls. We brought additional small marbles online.

I can advise that the Chad Valley Marble Run after constructed, it should be about 80cm tall, it is not recommended that it is leaned on.
