About this product
Bring the warm glow of 200 LED lights to your Christmas or Diwali celebrations. These warm white battery-operated string lights work indoors or outdoors, giving you the freedom to dress up your space wherever you fancy. They come with 8 functions to choose from, flashing and fading and twinkling through different patterns, or you can keep them steady if you prefer a constant glow.
The timer feature turns them on for 8 hours and off for 16, so you can set them once and let them do their thing. It's especially handy if you've got them outdoors and don't fancy heading out every evening to switch them on. The cable gives you plenty of lit length to work with, with bulbs evenly spaced along the strand to create a beautiful sparkle.

Good value and reasonably well made, certainly better than some of the lights currently on the market. They're pretty bright for battery powered lights but are heavy on batteries, our first set of batteries lasted 4-5 nights.

Based on a 4-foot Christmas tree, the Habitat 200 Warm White LED Christmas Tree Lights would be fine, you could use up to 400 lights if you’re aiming for 100 lights per foot.

I had the same issue and the answers by Argos werent helpful.
The reason the lights wont stay on the one setting is because the batteries have run down. I changed them on my set of lights and they now stay on the setting I want

Thanks for checking with your supplier. Unfortunately this is not what happens in practice. Both sets of lights that I purchased switch from the static state, mode 8, to the random state, mode 1, after about 30 minutes without being touched. I can only think that either I have two faulty sets of lights or that there is a design fault. I notice that another person has asked the same question. Your further help would be appreciated.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: the lights will stay on that mode (your selected mode), which will not be auto changed until you select the next mode.

Please press to the no.8 steady on mode. Normally, it will keep steady on, without changing.
There are 8 modes:
1. Combination
2. In Waves
3. Sequential
4. Slo-Glo
5. Chasing/Flash
6. Slow Fade
7. Twinkle Flash
8. Steady On
