This Russell Hobbs 3 tier steamer is perfect for healthy cooking. Steaming your food is a great way to gently cook it, keeping in moisture and nutrients. With 3 levels you can cook several things at once, making sure each one gets the right level of heat. You only have to look online to find a great variety of recipes that are essentially 'one pot', so they're really easy to cook and really nutritious too. To Avoid scorching the handles, do not place the steamer on hob rings larger than the base size or allow flames to overlab the sides.

Very nice steamer. Steams the food well. I am very pleased with my purchase. Great that the handles don’t get hot.

Unfortunately using gas cooker is a problem for plastic handles. The first time I used it, I smelled burning plastic and yes it was the handles. It means I can only use it with low heat, not ideal for a steamer!

This was to replace one I boiled dry (not this brand). It is so much better. Good to have handles don't get hot. Good capacity. Steam stays in pot. Last one escaped through side on top pot. Would buy again.

Great and safe handles is a huge bonus
This is a great replacement for my 15 year old one which has seen better days. I looked a several and this was the only one I found with handles that were not just mental and would get very hot. Depending on your cooker and where it is placed the Russell Hobbs 18cm 3 Tier Stainless Steel Steamer the handles should not get very hot, they might get warm to touch .
