I bought this 3 tier steamer it's great for putting all your vegetables in and cooks so quickly and you can put allsorts in there's plenty of room in each compartment for different kinds of veg and tastes much better steaming rather than boiling very happy with this purchase would highly recommend buying one

Yes, pasta can be cooked in it, however it will take very long time.
Eggs can be cooked in the food steamer.
Red meat can also be cooked, as there is nothing preventing you from doing that, but beef would probably yield poor results.
The manual advises on cooking times and recommended meat types for cooking and can be viewed in the "View document (PDF)" towards the bottom of the about this product section.
