I'm very pleased with this purchase. My GHDs had finally died after 20 years so I bought these quickly after reading the reviews. I use them for waves in my short bob and they do the trick. Glide over the hair with ease. Heats up in seconds. I like the fact you can control the temperature. I would prefer a slide button to turn on the straighteners and a buzzer to signal they have heated up and cord length could be longer but for the price im prepared to sacrifice this.They are easy to grip. Overall a good pair of straighteners for my needs.

Value straighteners
I purchased this product to replace my old pair that had suddenly stopped working after less than two years. I decided to try a cheaper pair this time (since they seem to break down regardless of how much I spend!) On opening the box, I could tell instantly that these were less than half the price of my old ones - they felt very ‘plasticky’ and lightweight. However, my hair is shoulder length and fine so they do the same job at straightening it. They take a bit longer to heat up but not too bad. I’d say they’re fine if you don’t want to spend much money and your hair isn’t really thick.
