About this product
This Mercia Maine Summerhouse with Side Shed gives you flexible garden space with built-in storage. It's made from PEFC certified wood with shiplap construction that protects against the weather. The attached side shed stores garden equipment and accessories so your main space stays clear. The double doors open wide to create a welcoming entrance, and two fixed windows let natural light inside. A lock and key are included for security.
The tongue and groove construction throughout the floor, walls and roof provides strength and weather protection. The pent roof design fits neatly into most gardens and sheds rainwater efficiently. The spacious interior accommodates seating, a desk or whatever suits your needs. Assembly requires two people and the wood needs treating before use. You'll have a versatile garden room with practical storage that keeps your outdoor space organised.

Good solid shed. Two booklets for the instructions is confusing. Too many screws which makes you think you're leaving something out. Extra roof felt which again makes you think you've forgotten something or maybe I have. The lock on the door doesn't seem to do much.

However, you will need to follow the manufactures recommendations when installing this to ensure the product has been installed 100% correctly.
If not properly installed, this can cause issues with the building.''

Our supplier has advised that the Mercia Maine Summerhouse with Side Shed - 14 x 6ft has not been tested with the wall panel removed, this may affect the structural integrity of the summerhouse and it is not recommended.

“ This item is not supplied with a base. The customer is required to source a suitable base such as concrete or slabs. The base must be solid, flat, and level. ”

The supplier has advised the following for the Mercia Maine Summerhouse with Side Shed - 14 x 6ft:
Yes, the windows can be replaced with double glazed ones as long as the glazing is fitted correctly.
The 10 year anti-rot warranty would not be affected as long as the glazing is fitted correctly, i.e. the framing is not broken and left broken which may allow moisture inside. They add this though: "We would be unable to send replacement parts to the customer if the reason for requesting parts is due to defects affecting the windows after customisation". (So neither the 3rd party windows themselves nor any faults/damage arising due to their use or installation would be covered).
