I bought these straighteners to use whilst travelling abroad on holiday. They were seized at airport security as they do not comply with the safety requirements for heat generating appliances. Apparently the power source, ie the battery must be removable otherwise the item cannot be carried in checked in or hand luggage. Complete waste of money.
