Great camera - extra security at our caravan
Bought this for extra security at our caravan, to keep an eye on our awning. Connected to the sites wifi with ease and its great that it doesnt need a constant power supply ( i may even buy the solar charger for it to save charging so often). The picture is really good for the price i paid i think its a bargain.

I would like to clarify that the C410 does not support SIM cards, as it is not a cellular-enabled camera.
Did you mean to insert an SD card instead? If you insert a compatible microSD card into the C410, you can enable local recording directly to the SD card without needing to subscribe to Tapo Care or pay any monthly fees.

If you plan to install it indoors and shoot through glass:
We do not recommend doing so. If the camera is installed behind glass, the infrared light will reflect, resulting in a blurry image. This is especially problematic in nighttime scenes, as it affects the timely detection of moving objects.
Furthermore, excessively high rooftop windows can also affect the camera's detection performance. We still recommend strictly adhering to the installation guidelines.
