Battery
Battery life is not very good afterfull charge lasted 1 week .only way i could make it last was to only record when doorbell is rung .so no other recording .but we only want it for doorbell .so abit expensive for just that

Switch from Ring to this. Much better and without the ridiculous storage costs with Ring. Very functional, easy to set up and great quality images.

Great video doorbell, battery life not so good
Had this for a month now, picture quality is good with great resolution, it was easy to install and set up, the door bell appears sturdy, weatherproof and well made. The only issue is we live in a busy area, already had to charge the battery twice. Might last longer if we set it only to activate when pressed rather than trying to use it for security recording. The AI is good though and filters out most background noise but unfortunately at the cost of battery drain. Local storage to an SD card works well.

Great doorbell easy to set up, great clear view pictures both day and night. Long life after charging up had nine 4 weeks now and still 76% on it , I have set mine up with Alexa . Highly recommend

Very unhappy with this doorbell,took a long time to answer and communicate with person at doorbell,then all the conversation kept cutting out,moved the hub nearer the doorbell thinking that would make a difference but no,it didn't,so took it back to Argos for a refund,then I bought the tapo D210 doorbell which is so much better and cheaper.

Disappointing Door Bell
Disappointed 😞 software not yet WiFi compatible so has to be wired directly to the Internet meaning the chime isn't portable and restricts its use.

I can advise that the Tapo D230S1 can be fitted to a door frame or wall using either the included adhesive for a drill-free installation or with screws and wall anchors for a more secure, permanent mount.
