Two-way audio lets you speak directly to visitors through the Tapo app, or send a quick recorded response when you're busy.
This video doorbell features smart AI detection that identifies people, pets and cars with no subscription fees required. Store footage locally on a microSD card up to 512GB (card sold separately) or opt for Tapo Care cloud storage services for added flexibility. It's IP64 rated for weather and dust resistance, includes an anti-theft alarm, and works seamlessly with Alexa and Google Assistant. The chime is included in the box along with all the fixings you need for installation. Resolution great, have many Tapo products and swear by them they are easy to setup and easy to use I have almost fully automated my home. The camera picks up packages,people,vehicles and pets it is great for security and piece of mind. The battery life is great and when you need to charge just buy a spare and swap it out. If you have visitors late on you can even turn the light on so you can see them great for switching on when you cannot find the keyhole if you have an SD card No more subscription fees yay!

Really Pleased, Great Doorbell
Our first video doorbell. Really pleased with the Tapo D230S1. Video quality is excellent. Easy to install and set up. You don't need a monthly subscription with this, the doorbell comes with a hub which takes a memory card and connects to your internet. It also plays the doorbell ringtone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install and currently working well. Checked out charging the battery, takes about 4 hours but simple to reinstall, no reinitialising needed. Very pleased with purchase.

Good doorbell, diabolical battery.
The camera itself is good, the picture is clear and it's all easy to set up. The build quality is ok, my last doorbell was a ring and that just felt much more substantial. The real issue is the battery life. It's advertised as having up to 180 days battery life, I appreciate that this would be with all of the settings turned right down, but even at average use I'd be expecting it to last quite a while. So far, our battery is lasting around 24 hours?! This is with battery saving mode on. I'll be returning this, as this battery life just isn't acceptable.

Bought this to replace a ring door bell. Had some difficulty setting it up, but now it is in place it seems to work ok. The fact that you can record to an SD card was the reason we chose this as a replacement

For the battery-powered doorbell, you can go to the Tapo app > doorbell's Device Settings > Storage & Recording > Clips Settings page to customize the length of the video clip, and the maximum value is 120 seconds. The length setting applies to the video clips stored on the SD card and cloud server.

Yes, you can! Here are two ways to do it:
Method 1: Log in with the same account on both devices
Simply use your primary/owner TP-Link account to log into the Tapo app on both your phone and tablet. This gives you full control over the doorbell on both devices simultaneously.
Method 2: Share the doorbell with another account
If you prefer to use separate accounts on each device, you can share the doorbell with up to 5 additional TP-Link accounts. Keep in mind that shared accounts have limited permissions — they can access Live View, two-way talk, voice call, pan/tilt control, and SD card playback, but cannot access Tapo Care cloud storage or change doorbell settings.
A few things to note:
1. For account security, it's recommended to only log in on your own personal devices.
2. You can enable Two-Step Verification in the Tapo app for added security:
