Good but could be better
Had this blanket two week now and it’s good but would be better with a bigger range of temperature control. Only three settings and not recommended to keep in all night.

Really excellent choice
Really excellent choice for keeping bed warm but with different settings for each. V easy to fit and works brilliantly. Service from Argos first class as usual. I think it helps that use their own delivery vans so we don't get often unreliable third-party delivery drivers

Pleased with this electric blanket. Like that you can heat one side of the bed or both. Each side has its own heating control. Working well and easy to order and collect item from Argos.

Brilliant separate warming each side of the bed
Easy to fit, the double bed one that I bought fits perfectly and is nice and warm, level 3 is very toasty. Can warm both sides of the bed differently. It is a good quality cover even when the heating is not on, nice and thick.

Works well with a smart switch
We had a standard double which works ok over the last couple of years, and wanted one for the guest bed. But all the new ones seem to have an electronic control, so not sure a smart switch or even simple timer would work. The yours and mine has the older mechanical switch. So the old blanket is on the guest bed, and this is brilliant at warming up separately for different bedtimes. The smart switches we have set to turn off an hour after being turned on (whether timed or manually) so no worries about falling asleep and it being on all night. Oh, and the fact that it's washable - the old one was fine after washing.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Silentnight Yours & Mine Electric Underblanket - Double: ''All Silentnight products are safe to use with an electric blanket however other brands would need to be checked with the manufacturer directly.
In regards to memory foam, the Silentnight is safe to use, please be aware memory foam softens with heat and allow the topper to cool down to regain shape.''

I can advise that the Silentnight Yours & Mine Electric Underblanket - Double is secured by corner straps. Provided they can be attached to your mattress in the same manner the you will be able to use it on your mattress.
