Great buy.
Whilst on a New Year break in England the lodge we were staying in was open plan therefore chilly. Decided to buy an electric blanket and it was great available in 4 hours and at a good price too. Will take it on future holidays in UK

Beware: This has no timer
The leaflet warns of the danger of falling asleep with the blanket on, but it isn't fitted with a timer to prevent this. Didn't occur to me that a heated blanker wouldn't be sold without a timer, so as soon as saw that it didn't have one I returned it for one that does have a timer. Not able testify to other features as didn't use it.

Really worth it but you may get a faulty one
Really one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I use it with an Alexa compatible plug so I can turn it on on my phone before I get home and my bed is so warm. It’s also super cheap compared to having the heating on. Removed a star because the product was damaged when I first got it- had to make a claim and get a replacement which was a bit of a faf.

It doesn't have a timer setting on it, so if that matters to you buy differently. If it doesn't it's fine. Works well and very good value.

Bought this at the start of freezing weather and so pleased with it especially the dual control. It allows the bed to be at different temperatures to suit both partner’s needs.

Great at warming/drying the bed
I've had this for a few weeks to get through the recent cold snap while I work on renovating/modernizing the house. It works well to warm the bed and take that cold camp feeling out of the bedding. It needs 15 mins to really get the bed warm and dry feeling, but it is very pleasant to get into once warm. The base sheet is not the full size of the mattress, there is no heating element under the pillow. area which makes sense. The only downside is that the connector to the cable can sometime be in an uncomfortable position.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Silentnight Yours & Mine Electric Underblanket - Double: ''All Silentnight products are safe to use with an electric blanket however other brands would need to be checked with the manufacturer directly.
In regards to memory foam, the Silentnight is safe to use, please be aware memory foam softens with heat and allow the topper to cool down to regain shape.''

I can advise that the Silentnight Yours & Mine Electric Underblanket - Double is secured by corner straps. Provided they can be attached to your mattress in the same manner the you will be able to use it on your mattress.
