Dual control blanket
I had an electric blanket which had one control to operate all of the blanket. As I am always cold and my partner is hot it wasn't working for us. I purchased the dual control blanket so I can put my side on which gives me a nice warm bed and a comfortable night's sleep without his side going on. Very efficient and safe blanket to use.

Works well and enjoying the dual control aspect as I am colder than my partner. Only improvement would be a timer so it could come on on advance but it warms up in a few minutes while getting ready for bed.

Brilliant electric blanket.
I needed a new electric blanket to replace my old one so I chose a Silentnight product because of its reliability and safety. So easy to put on bed, it just takes minutes.The dual controls are definitely a brilliant feature and even though it only has three heat settings, they are warm enough for anyone. Heats up really quickly. Love it and so does my cat.

Good blanket
Bought a month ago to replace a failed Dunelm version. It does all the necessary stuff, but the interesting thing is the elastic straps to hold it in place. So much easier to manage than the "fitted blanket" version, or the kind with straps to go under the corners and midriff. We like it.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Silentnight Yours & Mine Electric Underblanket - Double: ''All Silentnight products are safe to use with an electric blanket however other brands would need to be checked with the manufacturer directly.
In regards to memory foam, the Silentnight is safe to use, please be aware memory foam softens with heat and allow the topper to cool down to regain shape.'
