Perfectly adequate CD player
I bought this a few weeks ago after finding some CD's I wanted to listen to on the go and at home. The good: I didn't notice any jumps in playback, even while on the move (walking) Takes 2x AA batteries so replacements are easy to source Compact and fairly light, it's not bulky and bigger than it needs to be Handy array of buttons for control of audio, and a slider to adjust volume As far as plastic goes these days it feels adequate and will last if looked after Playback with good quality headphones was great, as expected from a CD The not so good: The earphones supplied with this - as most reviewers state, they are uncomfortable and the audio quality isn't the greatest either The finish of the case can easily become worn or scratched which may be an issue for some (for me personally it's not an issue) A form of direct power source from a mains powered adapter is accepted but no information on the type of power supply it requires is provided Battery usage life and powering off - this unit has no on/off switch so power can drain quickly if you accidentally pause (instead of stop) a CD to stop using it, when you press stop, the unit will automatically turn off after a short time. Although the issue could be poor quality batteries they don't seem to last more than a couple of hours tops.
