About this product
Mowing a medium or larger lawn? The Bosch UniversalRotak is a cordless rotary lawnmower with 37cm cutting width. It's powered by two 18V batteries for 36V performance on bigger gardens. The brushless motor delivers superior power and lasts longer than standard motors. You'll swap between five cutting heights from 2.5cm to 7cm to suit your lawn. The stainless steel blade cuts cleanly through grass without clogging. Two 4.0Ah batteries are included so you've got backup power when needed.
It's highly manoeuvrable so you'll navigate around flower beds and garden furniture easily. The 40 ls fabric grass bag has a grass-full indicator so you'll know when to empty. You'll fold the handle down for compact storage between mowing sessions. The rear roller helps you achieve striped lawn effects. It's compatible with all Bosch Home and Garden 18V system products. The charger recharges batteries in 1.5 hours so downtime stays minimal.

Cuts grass very well easy to assemble very stylish
I've had this mower for a while now and I am not disappointed with it what a brilliant machine so easy to use

It’s a mower with no cables, that’s it
It’s ok, not worth the money, cuts well but way overpriced

Disappointed
I bought this lawnmower 2 weeks ago For the price I am disappointed - it took 2 people to put together as the metal frame which connects to the lawnmower is really tight and you need someone to hold metal arm in place .. the 2 batteries required come with one charger and don’t last for long

It is now a pleasure to cut the gtass not a chore

Assembled incorrectly
Bought the lawnmower a few weeks ago and it comes already assembled apart from the handles and grass box. First time using it I noticed one of the wheels wasn't turning. Appears to be the roller on the back of the mower has been fitted incorrectly, and the bracket is out of joint, stopping the wheel from turning. Sent it straight back to Bosch who've had the mower for 2 weeks and not even an email received confirming they had it. Spoke with customer services who said allow 12 working days for it to be assigned to an engineer! Wish I'd sent it back to argos, got a refund and bought something else.

does the job but not on a larger lawn
Works well but battery runs out quicker than expected. Not that easy to assemble as drawing on enclosed paperwork very poor and faint. Machine takes 2 Batteries but only one charger supplied which was a bit strange. As I had another charge already, this was a minor issue. Bought 2 extra batteries which give sufficient power to complete whole lawn at an additional cost or £184.00.

Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Bosch UniversalRotak 37cm Cordless Rotary Lawnmower: The machine is fitted with a lightweight plastic roller. But will not leave significant stripes.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Brun,
Bosch UniversalRotak 37cm Cordless Rotary Lawnmower - 2x18V
Having checked I can see this is not a self propelled mower and will need to be pushed along to work.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Gardener 1.
Bosch UniversalRotak 37cm Cordless Rotary Lawnmower - 2x18V using 2x18V batteries is ideal for larger lawns.
The run time would depend on the task, technology constantly analyses the power requirement and draws just as much energy from the battery as needed, for optimum power during high-powered tasks and maximum endurance during less intense jobs.
Thanks for using Q & A.
