Nice idea but...
It didn't work. The alarm just stopped after 8 vibrations/ beeps. It was fiddly to set up too for old hands. Took it back and didnt try another one as it was tacky. Nice idea and would consider another one, better designed.

Vibrating alarm clock.
The instructions are so small impossible to red without a magnifying glass.

Does what needed
Bought for someone who cannot hear alarm clock and works a treat! Only downside is buttons are a bit small and fiddly.

Very good
Bought this as I'm deaf and don't always hear the alarm clock. Smaller than I thought so I was a bit sceptical of how effective it would be. I needn't have worried as it vibrates pretty effectively waking me up no problem. Packs a punch well above it's weight

overpriced
not cheap for what it is. only 1 alarm (our other much cheaper vibrating alarm clock has dual alarm but sadly no longer available on the market). the lock switch doesn't lock the Alarm On/Off button so might be turned off accidentally?

Alarm
I bought the alarm for my Wife as she is deaf and a normal one doesn't wake her but this one certainly does !

Silent thunder!
Works exactly as I want it too! Makes me shoot out of bed without anyone in the house knowing the alarm is going

Under pillow alarm clock
Until it activates you don't know it's there. Sleek, perfect design. Very happy with the clarity of screen/figures

Lifemax Under Pillow alarm clock
I was disappointed with this clock as I can't hear it or feel the vibration, the alarm and vibration are very quiet, so a waste of money.

Reliable and effective alarm clock
This alarm clock is effective and reliable. It fully performs it's function of being an alternative alarm clock for heavy sleepers who may not respond to conventional alarm clocks.
Ahmet, 55 - 64, London
Of course it ok for deaf on vibrate alerts

Hello Caroline,
The supplier has advised the following for the Lifemax Under Pillow Vibration Alarm Clock:
One of the rubber buttons on the back of the item is time set.
Once this has been activated the up and down buttons on the front are used to set the clock.
This is all in the instruction supplied with the clock
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Andy,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised: The clock is placed under the pillow in a leather wallet type case and will then vibrate to wake the person using the clock up.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi there
If the vibration only mode is selected it will vibrate for 1 minute before stopping.
If the vibration and audible alarm is selected it will vibrate for 20 seconds and then beep for a further 40 seconds (1 minute in total)
This will not be a loud alarm as it is designed mainly to vibrate so as not to wake partners/night workers etc
You can select to have no audible sound at all
Thank you for using Argos Q and A.
The back light will only come one when the snooze/light button on the top of the alarm is pressed. I hope this helps.
Yes! The long silver button on the top of the alarm is a snooze button. It will snooze the alarm for 8 minutes.
I'm afraid that as this product is not designed specifically for those with hearing loss we are unable to provide VAT exemption on this product.
