As seen in photo 7/7 the 2 parts click into each other and can be separated by pushing the button in at the side where they click into place.

Having checked I can see this is not designed to be shortened and doing o would invalidate any warranty left on the item.

I am 6ft tall and find it difficult to wind up and down the canopy as it winder is hard to work.
The bottom section could maybe shortened.
But is a risk.

The 2m umbrella height from ground to lower edge is 165cm.
