About this product
Iron clothes with or without a cord using the Tower T22008 2-in-1 Steam Iron. Its CeraGlide ceramic soleplate glides smoothly over fabrics, while the powerful 2400W element heats up in just 30 seconds. Switch between corded mode for longer sessions and cordless for freedom of movement when tackling hard-to-reach areas. With 40g constant steam and a 180g steam shot, it makes quick work of stubborn creases in everything from delicate blouses to heavy denim.
The 360 mL water tank reduces refills, and vertical steam refreshes hanging items and curtains. Anti-drip and anti-calc systems protect clothes and extend the iron's lifespan. Includes a measuring jug, soft-touch handle, and a 3-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Good iron
I brought this less than a month ago, but sp far has been good and done the job well. I like that you can detach the base which is useful. It doesnt take long to heat and is well wprth the money.

Highly recommend šš»
Bought a month ago and had no troubles. Great iron and love that it has a base to sit on as apposed to the cord attached getting in the way. Its light weight, has a great size refill jug that comes with it. I find it heats up super speedy and glides over the clothing with variable heat settings. Great buy, highly recommend šš»

Overall a great iron
Great iron, bought as similar to my previous one. The only thing I would say is that is difficult to tell how much water is in there.

Great iron
Gets the creases out well. I have a bad shoulder and hand. This was so much lighter to use both as a traditional iron and cordless. The lead isn't very long but it's not a problem. Heats quickly. The water seems to last quite long too compared to my old iron, which cost over twice as much.

Not the best
Bought this to replace a morphy Richards that was leaking water and tripping out circuit breakers. Only problem is the base charging dock on the iron is too big to rest in in the holding bay on my ironing board so have stand iron on the board itself and locate charging base elsewhere. Grrrr!!! As far as quality of iron is concerned in use, no worries.

Hi There,
Tower T22008 2-in-1 Steam Iron
On checking I can see there is a release switch on the base that will need to be slid to unlock if you want to use the iron cordlessly.
Thanks for using Q and A.
Hello Ali,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Tower T22008 2-in-1 Steam Iron: ''Please be advised that the Tower T22008 Ceraglide Iron does not contain a traditional rechargeable battery as it does not hold a lengthy charge like other household appliances.
Plug the iron in, then rotate the dial and the indicator light on the body of the iron will illuminate to show the iron is heating and will turn off once it has reached the optimum temperature.
When the iron needs to reheat, place it back onto the base and the indicator light will illuminate to show it is heating up again. It only takes a few seconds for the iron to heat to the required setting in between each use.''
Thank you for using Q & A.

Hi Jojo,
Regarding the Tower T22008 2-in-1 Steam Iron.
This product is only designed to be used intermittently as a cordless iron and should be placed back onto the charging pod in between each use.
The length of time the cordless function would last depends on the usage and we wouldn't be able to quantify this as there are too many variables to consider
Thanks for using Q&A.
