Great watch great price.
Bought to replace the exact same 7 year old watch which was playing up. Old watch the date died about 3 years ago, but it's been a great trooper doing it's job of telling the time. Since I've bought the new watch, the old one has gone into sulk mode, and has stopped telling lies about the time, and is now accurate (too late my watch fiend). The night light is great for seeing the tine in the dead of night (just press in on the wheel). The first one suffered pin failed, after the pins became rusty, but two stainless steel pins cured that problem. Kept the old watch incase this one gets broken, but to be honest, they are VERY hard wearing, and can take a right knock or two. Would recommend to anyone

Very cheaply made
For an outdoor watch it is built very cheaply. The glass/plastic already has a scratch on it. It won't last long. If you're very active outdoors, I'd give it a miss.

Yes, I replaced mine straight away - with a nato strap, as it happens. It has the normal sprung spindles. I can’t remember the spindle size off the top of my head but they are a pretty standard size.
I have this watch for 6 year , and I never change the battery .
Bought mine in October 2020 so it’s a bit early to tell.

Batteries can last approximately 2 years. Timex strongly recommends that a retailer or jeweller replace battery to prevent damage being caused. Battery type is on watch back. Prices will vary according to the retailer.

Yes, this watch does have a light up face, when you push the crown in, as soon as the crown is released it turns off. Both the hour and minute hand glow in the dark in the standard way. I hope this helps, as the store was unwilling to demonstrate when I bought mine.

This watch is described as having a green dial, although image 4 on the product page is used to illustrate the night-light, therefore the face would not be this luminous when the night-light is not in use.

Your Perpetual Calendar watch accurately keeps track of how many days are in each month. It also adjusts for leap years. The date on your watch (including the month and year) was preset at the factory to Eastern Standard Time, Greenwich Mean Time or Hong Kong Standard Time (depending on where you purchased your watch). You only need to adjust the time.

Hi,
To change the date on this model you need to pull the winder into the middle position so the hands do not move and then wind anticlockwise or clockwise until the correct date shows. Once set push the winder back in and all is set.
