“Blender Didn’t Work From First Use – Very Disappo
I will be contacting Argos later regarding the blender I purchased. Since the day I bought it, the blender has never worked properly. I tried to use it once, but it did not turn on or function at all. Because of this, I honestly do not know what is wrong with it. I am very disappointed with this product, especially as it did not work from the first use. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this blender to anyone. I am also unsure whether I will be able to exchange it because I did not purchase insurance. However, I plan to leave a negative review because my experience with the product and the customer service has been very poor. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience.

Yes I just bought this and it is weird - it doesnt click or lock - just sits ontop. The other answer is about the glass jug version so ignore that - this is the plastic version. It looks like something is missing but its just a bad design. Might be partly why its so loud.
The blender jug does not lock, the weight of the glass jug holds it in place, but it has to be fitted correctly to the base as the slots only mesh into the base at certain positions and will wobble if not fitted correctly. Twisting the glass jug, with the white plastic crown fitted clockwise when it is in the motor base, tightens up the plastic crown on to the jug. To remove the white crown from the jug if it is too tight, place the jug and crown into the motor base and turn it anticlockwise.
