Alright, but instructions not correct
I bought as an emergency since my old blender stopped working. I started to use out the same day. The only problem was that there was no instruction that the base of the jar can be unscrewed, and I happen to unscrew it when placed on the motor unit and everything spilled out like a volcano. So a lot of mess and waste. So the jar merely sits on the motor unit and no need to lock it in like the usual blenders, just lift the jar when done, do not turn it, otherwise the bottom will unscrew.

I can advise the following for the Russell Hobbs Go Create White 1.5L Glass Jug Blender 27580:
Unscrew the outer ring to separate the blade assembly (some models require turning the measuring cap counter-clockwise). Wash the jug, lid, and blade assembly with warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher. Handle the blades with care.

The supplier has advised the following for the Russell Hobbs Go Create White 1.5L Glass Jug Blender 27580:
“ We do not recommend using honey only with no liquid, as it might form a solid and sticky mix. The blades must be helped with liquid to move freely and to not put pressure on the motor. It is also not recommended while using the mill function. ”

The blender jug does not lock, the weight of the glass jug holds it in place, but it has to be fitted correctly to the base as the slots only mesh into the base at certain positions and will wobble if not fitted correctly. Twisting the glass jug, with the white plastic crown fitted clockwise when it is in the motor base, tightens up the plastic crown on to the jug. To remove the white crown from the jug if it is too tight, place the jug and crown into the motor base and turn it anticlockwise.
