The eufy E340 doorbell has two cameras - a 2K front facing with facial recognition, and the second to monitor the doorstep with package detection. Colour night vision allows you to see in clarity day and night, while the integrated lights offer help to see when it's dark. The doorbell can either be hardwired or battery operated - the battery can be removed for easy recharging. A Chime is included to hear alerts in the home.

Best bell
Before settling with the eufy doorbell, I tried the blink, ring and an Amazon xtu bell. This bell is hands down the best one. Not only don't you pay a monthly subscription, it stays online and reacts to motion better than the others. Highly recommend

Poor Instructions
I found the instructions very poor and had to get a friend to go on U Tube to find out how to set it up and I still don't know how to change the tone when someone walks past so i don't think it's a WhatsApp message

Great camera temperamental connection
Brought it a month ago. Excellent picture and night view. Easy to install. Great option of wired or wireless. The only issue is the internet connection to the device is temperamental, dropped in 2 occasions so far . Will see

Easy to set up and also has telephone AI support which was interesting but answered the question quickly. Very happy with this purchase.

It works without a homebase and you can use either your phone for ringing or a plugin chime or can use both.

The battery life on the Eufy E340 camera is claimed to last up to 180 days, but this would be under ideal conditions, of only 10 activations a day. However, in high traffic areas, the battery will last considerably less. It is not possible to determine how long the battery will last, as it is dependent on how often it is triggered. A spare battery can be bought for the camera, please see the below link:
