The eufy E340 doorbell has two cameras - a 2K front facing with facial recognition, and the second to monitor the doorstep with package detection. Colour night vision allows you to see in clarity day and night, while the integrated lights offer help to see when it's dark. The doorbell can either be hardwired or battery operated - the battery can be removed for easy recharging. A Chime is included to hear alerts in the home.

So far so good. Doing the job I purchased it for. A lot better than the arlo bell I’ve replaced. Night vision is good, keeps an eye on the fox we get in the night.

You will need to contact Eufy if you have Iphone
Bought this recently if you have an iPhone you will have difficulty in setting up depending on your IOS number installed on your phone. If it’s over 26.4 you will need to contact Eufy for help. I spent 3 hrs trying in the end contacted Eufy and on phone for at least an hour with them. Nightmare. It’s a shame no one tells you this B4 purchase.

A problem linking with dual band routers
I bought this in January 2026 for all the features and reviews. I could not link it with my deco t-p link mesh routers because they are running on dual band 2.4 & 5 ghz. Research suggests switching off 5ghz until connection is successful. This could become a regular problem so i returned the item. Other manufacturers provide software to address this problem.

Excellent video quality and reliable performance
I’m very impressed with this video doorbell. The image quality is sharp and clear, and the night vision works really well even in low light. Motion detection and recognition are accurate, and I receive notifications quickly. It feels solid and well-made, and the weatherproof design gives me confidence using it outdoors. Setup was simple and it works smoothly with my devices. Highly recommended!

Mixed feelings
Had this hardwired after getting rid of ring doorbell, but having problems getting the indoor chime to work. Tried everything and eventually Eueffy have agreed to swap the chime. Will see what happens when it arrives!

Such an easy set up good quality camera, very impressed, the only downside is the slight delay in picking up people, the delay is around 30 seconds but you can always go back a view the footage, battery life is brilliant

The doorbell can either be hardwired or battery operated.
As to any compatibility with a BT Hub, we'd need more info on the current hub and set up you have but it is likely to be possible. We'd advise to check with your service provider before considering any purchase.

The motion detection feature on the Chime does not play on the chime itself. Instead, it sends a message to your phone when motion is detected. The Chime Snooze feature can be used to temporarily silence all alerts, including motion and doorbell rings, but it cannot be configured to silence motion alerts only. If you want to receive motion alerts on your phone without the chime sound, you would need to manually turn off motion alerts on the Chime.
