Resin sheds like this one come supplied with a floor - an integral part. However, it needs to be built on a suitable hard level base, such as concrete, paving slabs or tarmac. This base is NOT supplied. A shed can't be placed directly onto a base of grass, earth, sand etc. As natural movement will affect the stability, reduce lifespan and could cause the door to warp.

Nightmare to put together
We had to push the side panels down from above on a step ladder and after hours of trying to complete it with the roof we gave up and went to bed. It really isn't an easy item to assemble and it needs definatley two possibly three people to finish.

Plastic Shed
Check your measurements! I bought this and another and both turned out to be a bit smaller internally than I thought. I bought in a rush so didn't look up internal dimensions... doh! I managed to put this up by myself in about 3-4 hours - helped by erecting the larger shed the day before so I knew the routine. Seating the roof is the hardest part - you need someone to pull it down into place so it can be screwed down from the inside. I used a few paving slabs to weigh it down and got it done. In pieces I wasn't too sure on how robust this would be but assembled, the structure is decently stiff. for the price - I'm happy enough, and should be able to disassemble it and move to a new house if needs be.

Great little shed when built

Great Little Shed.
I purchased one of these before at my old house and was always very pleased with it. This time around Ifound it easier assembling the shed (especially when it comes to attaching the roof) on a nice sunny day as the heat made the panels and framework far more flexible. Perfect for store garden tools and general bits n bobs.

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
