A successful lightweight alternative kettle
My 92 year old Mother in Law was finding it difficult to lift her old Russell Hobbs kettle so I bought her this lightweight travel kettle. It holds 4 of her small mugs in capacity so doesn’t require filling all of the time. She is really pleased with it. It doesn’t take long to boil and automatically switches itself off.

Perfect for holidays abroad
Took abroad because the 'all inclusive' hotel wanted to charge us daily rent for a kettle in our room! Worked perfectly. Compact and light. Capacity fills two large mugs. Boils fairly slowly but quite adequate. Cheapest online price at the time. The mugs that come with it are too small for a decent sized cuppa and the spoons are flimsy, so took our own. Order/collection from Argos went quickly and smoothly.

Would've given it 5stars but for the design oddity
What I didn't appreciate when I bought this for my 92-year-old mother (who’s not strong enough to lift a conventional kettle) is that the base is welded to the kettle so to take it to the tap to fill one has to unplug the kettle at the socket which is a right ball ache obviously but aside from this inspired design idea it’s a neat little kettle which boils fairly quickly. Tidy, like.
