About this product
- Collection is only offered through the home delivery service on the purchase of selected large domestic appliances.
- Old large domestic appliances to be collected MUST be disconnected, defrosted (for at least 24 hours) and emptied of water. Failure to comply will result in the old item not being taken away. You will be given a refund of the charge for the collection service.
- Please note that removal of the old item is only available at the same time as the new one is delivered. If the old one cannot be removed at the same time, we will not come back and collect at a later date and you will receive a refund of the charge for the service.
- The item to be disposed of must not present a health and safety risk to our staff.
- We will take away your old appliance so you don't have the hassle of taking it to the local tip or recycling centre.
Returns
If you want to return your product once it's been successfully delivered, a non-refundable collection charge of £30 will be applied, unless the product is faulty.

Swift And Efficient
The two men who delivered my new fridge freezer from Argos also took away my old fridge freezer and I have to say the two man team proved to be quick, efficient and tidy. Altogether a very capable and polite team, and a very handy service at a reasonable price.

Beyond helpful!
This is a fantastic service to offer and really should be standard in this day and age for 'being green' and helping the planet. It made our life so much easier not having to shift the old washer ourselves and the men made it look so easy! I would definitely use this service again.

I am sorry but your tall fridge freezer 70cm wide would not be able to be collected by ourselves and recycled.

The Recycling Service - Removal of Large Kitchen Appliance service does not include disconnecting of a washing machine and setting up the new one.
This can be purchased as an additional add on with certain appliances.

I can advise that when purchasing an item where recycling is offered, we cannot add another item by purchasing an additional Recycling Service - Removal of Large Kitchen Appliance. This is because space on our vans is limited.

An old tumble dryer can be recycled. This is only offered upon the purchase of selected large domestic appliance. The removal would be at the same time of the new delivery and the old machine would need to be disconnected and ready to go, on the day.

If there isn't a socket that it can plug into then no, you would need an electrician to install the plug before we can install the new one for you. We don't change anything in the household.

No our recycle service only include the removal of your old product.
Our installation service is not always available and would depend on the appliance you order. If it is available you will have the option to select the service. It would include delivery, recycle and installation and the packaging would be removed and taken away for you.

Hello there,
For our recycling service the appliance needs to be disconnected and defrosted for at least 24hrs prior to our drivers' arrival, as well as emptied of any water.
Provided the appliance is in a format which can be safely transported our drivers can take it away.

The integrated freezer would need to be disconnected and drained down, ready to go. The collection would be on the same day as the delivery. It is on a one to one basis.
