Does the job
I've not used this much, but its light enough and the flickering flame setting is good enough. Can't comment on battery life yet (of course will be battery dependent). Is a bit plasticky and cheap feeling, but I think thats to be expected for this price.

Brilliant little light
Fire mode looks really good effect The wite light is very bright but is nice with the dimmer function. Not sure how long it will last as it is plastic.

Not the brightest lamp
This lamp would be okay as the main light in a small tent, but outdoors in our garden it is more for effect than illumination. The flame effect is, imo, better than some reviews suggest.

Brill if you don’t mind the flashing amber light
I bought this because I was looking for a candle like flickering flame to help wind down at night. However my disappointment is that the amber flicking light is more like a flashing than a flickering light. When the amber flashing light is turned up full it’s worse for flashing on the walls. It’s an amber flashing pattern cycle that’s annoying. It doesn’t resemble a candle flicker. When turned down to the lowest the amber flickering is like a repeating cycle of a lighter flashing but not as bad. The lantern is brilliant if you’re looking for a bright white light or a dim light. If you don’t mind flashing rather than flickering then it would be ideal. I used the rechargeable batteries to save replacing batteries. Overall it’s a brilliant light but I’m just disappointed with the flashing reflecting on the wall rather than a flickering candle. I recommend rechargeable batteries. If you’re going camping bring plenty of rechargeable batteries with you and then you can recharge them when you get home.
