Great sound, comfortable to wear, lots of options to modify sound if you want, brilliant for bass, makes basslines really stand out if you want, and the sound connect app gives alot of additional options. This model comes with a case which is good protection for the headphones, and a wire if you don't want to use bluetooth option.

Some good features but build quality average
Purchased about 1 month ago. The ANC is good and valuable for the office and commuting. The battery life is outstanding. It’s gets used everyday for long periods of the day and I’ve only need to charge it twice over the past month. Unfortunately it’s not without its faults. My ears get very hot over long listening sessions, the ear cups are rather shallow and can be irritating on the ears. The build quality isn’t great if I move my jaw the headphone creak and clunk on the side of my mess. Very distracting when trying to talk with them. The sounds is adequate. I’m no audiophile so I can’t comment too much on this. I like the app and features but the adaptive ANC can be gimmicky which is also distracting. Am I happy with my purchase? To a degree. Would I send them back? Probably not. Would I buy them again? Probably not- for the price I’d say invest more and get a premium model. If this is your max budget then these are a good buy but don’t expect too much from them.

Amazing value for money
The headphones come in a zip-up semi-hard case, despite customer support telling me that it doesn't when I enquired on this matter. The headphones are excellent in terms of build and sound quality. I found them to be a bit bass-heavy out of the box. However, the app allowed me to tune the sound to my liking. They are now tuned to my personal preference, and if I require a bit more bass, I simply need to push the ULT button. There are two ULT settings, but the second one is a real bone-rattler and not for me. The controls are very intuitive for swiping through tracks and adjusting the volume. The ANC is fantastic when used with my iPhone and Lenovo laptop. I also like the ambient pass-through feature that is activated by placing my hand over the right-hand cup. I also like the play pause feature that is activated when the headphones are taken off the head. Overall, I rate these headphones as almost as good as other models costing 3x as much.

Great headphones for audiobooks and everyday use
I’ve been using these headphones for about two weeks now and I’m really happy with them. The noise cancellation works well — it’s not absolutely perfect, but it’s good enough to listen to audiobooks comfortably even in noisy environments. The surrounding sounds are nicely muted, so the narrator’s voice comes through clearly, allowing me to stay focused on the story. The headphones fit fully over my ears and feel very comfortable to wear for long periods. The battery life is also impressive, it lasts for quite a while on a single charge. Being a Bluetooth headphone it can, I have it setup on iPhone, iPad, Mac, PC and even my TV. Just one thing to note is the Sony Headphone app is recommended as it has the sound profiles. However It's a bit heavy on the user agreement prompts and wanting to know your location and every detail about what you listen to which I don't like - its just a set of headphones after all...

This would be dependent on the phone you are listening through rather than the headphones themselves - typically a smartphone will shut off any music or other application sound when there is an incoming or outgoing call.

I think it's your phone that does this but I can confirm it happens with these headphones. It pauses your music when you take the headphones off too or move them to your neck
