Great Sound
The sound is fabulous which for me this is the important thing. If you want powerful lights however this speaker is very underwhelming

wow i was totally blown away by the size and the power of this speaker, the bass on it is amazing, don't even use my hifif anymore as the speaker sounds so much deeper and better, connects easily and has an app to control fuctions.

Good sounding speaker is surprisingly balanced.
I think the ULT Field 7 sounds good with LDAC and streaming from Qobuz. I had to put my HiFi system away as I have remodelled my living room and was looking for a decent sounding speaker that be moved. I listen to a lot of classical, some jazz and a little rock/soul and ‘80s. The sound is very decent with nice bass in ULT1 mode with crisp treble. ULT2 seem to boost mid-bass a bit too much for my taste. Stereo image (as to be expected) not optimal, but you could buy a second unit and have them paired in stereo. Battery life seems very good, even from 90% with the battery care function. The only thing I could wish for, is that when you turn the light function OFF all the lights are off : including the ULT button that keeps flashing different colours in tempo. I have covered it with black tape.
