Great fun for all the family!
I've been on the fence about getting a VR headset since last xmas due to concerns about a lack of decent games or high prices for the ones that do look decent. My 10 year old decided he fancied one so I opted for the 3 rather than the 3S due to the 512gb storage, double or quadruple that of the 3S models. I was thinking there would be enough free content to keep him entertained until he lost interest after a few weeks. Not the case! There is a host of free to download games and apps, 3 months free subscription to Horizon+ featuring around 100 game titles and at £7.99 a month it won't break the bank to keep it running to access some excellent fun games for both him and I! The optics are noticeably better than the 3S I demo'd so I'm glad opted for the premium headset. The only downsides are the battery life which lasts around 2 hours, and the included headstrap which, by the time the battery was done, was causing a bit of discomfort due to the pressure on my cheeks and around my eyes and a bit of head and neck ache. Having upgraded it with the Venom headstrap available from Argos both of these niggles are a thing of the past! Definitely worth the £40 price tag for double the play time and added comfort and balance. It also came with a protective carry case worth £30 if purchased separately! Bang for buck probably the best £500 I've spent on electronics to date. With the optional 3 years aftercare insurance for a reasonable price, you'll have peace of mind well beyind the manufacturer's 1 year warranty. Great all round!

Seamless gameplay
I bought the Oculas a couple weeks ago and we are really pleased with it. A great vr experience and good choice of games. Comfortable to wear and no wires. Seamless connectivity with the hand controls. We purchased from Argos with minimal fuss. We ordered in the evening and collected the next day. The service from their staff was perfect.

Hi Ghrim and thanks for your interest in the Meta Quest 3.
The Meta Quest 3 battery generally lasts 2 to 3 hours, but this can vary depending on usage. We do have a few tips to optimize battery life:
Keep software updated
Always make sure that your device is using the latest version of software. When there is a new software release, your Meta Quest headset will update automatically when connected to Wi-Fi and turned on. You can also manually check for updates in Settings.
Maximize battery life
Like all lithium-ion batteries, Meta batteries age and lose capacity over time and with usage. For good battery lifetime capacity, we recommend using your device until the battery level is below 50% before recharging. If you need to store your device for a long time without use, we recommend leaving the battery charged to about 50% and keeping the device at room temperature. Avoid storing your device in hot or cold environments.
Use the provided charger
When charging your Meta Quest headset, use the charger that was included in the box. While you may be able to charge your headset's battery with chargers from other devices, your headset and its included charger were designed and tested to work optimally together and to maximize the performance of your headset.
If you're having trouble with getting your charger to fit correctly in a wall outlet, you may need to adjust the position of the grounding pin.
Keep the magnetic pins clean
The magnetic pins on the charging dock must be dry to avoid damage to the headset, controllers and charging dock. Use a dry cloth to wipe away any moisture on the magnetic pins.
It's not possible or advised to physically remove the internal battery from the headset as it's an integrated component but if you have any issues with your battery or device, you can always get in touch with our support team via our website, we'd be happy to help!
Hello there!
Thank you for reaching out with your question about using glasses with the Meta Quest 3.
To clarify, the Meta Quest 3 does not include a separate glasses spacer in the box. Instead, it features a built‑in depth adjustment mechanism within the facial interface. By pressing the buttons inside the headset, you can slide the facial interface forward to create extra room. This provides up to four spacing options, which are designed to accommodate most glasses frames.
We hope this clears up the confusion and helps you feel confident about using your Quest 3 with glasses. Please contact us through Meta Store Support if you have further questions or concerns, we will be happy to help.
