I love this Kobo. It's very light and small and fits in a side pocket of my shorts. There's no glare and easy to read.A very good battery life and plenty of storage for my book's. It's also waterproof and made out of recycled materials. You can also get cases for them . And easily adjust the light just by sliding your finger up and down

If you need a new Ereader I'd recommend this one
My ancient old Ereader finally gave up working. I've never been an Amazon subscriber so wanted my replacement Ereader to also avoid Amazon. This is the perfect solution and I'm very happy. It's night time screen is excellent too.

Lovely little device
I bought this to replace an older version (Kobo Aura), which had served me well for over 7 years, having been used daily (I think there was a problem with the charging port - it did not want to connect). It was very easy (with an internet connection) to transfer my existing purchased books over from the Kobo account, preserving their read/unread/%-read status. Data such as "hours spent reading" did not, however, transfer. It is also easy to borrow e-books from the local library, via my laptop and Adobe Digital Editions software. I have not tried the audiobook/Bluetooth function, so cannot comment on that. It's a nice size (smaller than a typical paperback), and not heavy. Unfortunately, there were no sleep cases available on Argos (though there are some nice ones on Etsy). I like the fact that the screen can be lit, and the level of lighting can be adjusted, so I can read in dimmer conditions. There is also a nice option (which can be turned off) to reduce the level of blue light at night, giving a pinkish tinge to the page. The battery seems good - doesn't take very long to charge, and lasts for several days once it is charged. An added advantage for me was being able to pay with Nectar points. I would not hesitate to recommend this product.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Kobo Clara BW 16GB Wi-Fi E-Reader - Black.
This depends on the eBook and where/how it was purchased or downloaded, due to something called Digital Rights Management.
If the eBooks were purchased through the Kobo Store and are linked to their Kobo account, simply logging into the same Kobo account on their new device and syncing will automatically download all their purchased eBooks to the new device.
For eBooks not purchased through Kobo, or for transferring files directly, they can connect their Kobo devices to a computer and copy DRM-free e-pub or pdf files from the old Kobo to the new Kobo.
If some eBooks have DRM protection, removing DRM is necessary to transfer files between different Kobo accounts or to another device.
