Kobo Clara best screen for reading in all light
I bought this recently to replace a Kobo e-reader I had for years. The kobo e-reader is fabulous for it readability. The screen is great to read from no matter what the light. There is no reflection or glare from the screen and even in bright sunshine, the screen is easy to read from. I have not found another make of e-reader as good for readability. This particular e-reader can be used to read books from the library as well as the Kobo store and I can also listen to audio books on it. Good battery life too. Great to take on holiday or other leisure time.

Happy Kindle Migrant
Moved to Kobo after owning a Kindle Paperwhite for 9 years and I’m very happy I did. Excellent experience: the device is responsive, battery lasts, clarity is excellent and no sign of Jeff Bezos anywhere. Nice to have integration with libraries, so I can borrow books from my local library, and the whole Kobo experience feels polished and well made.

Kobo better than kindle
I needed to replace my defunct kindle that amazon aren't supporting any longer. I wanted an e-reader that would allow me to download books from the library and I didn't want to support Amazon, so I wasn't looking to upgrade my kindle. Kobo does this, the screen is sharp and readable, I love it! No going back to kindle!

Kobo Clara is great
I bought this to replace my old Kobo reader which I have retired at 15 years old. The Clara is identical in many respects but just ... better. Lighter weight, clearer screen, more display options and quicker to respond. Best of all, you actually own the ebooks you pay for so Kobo won't be snatching them back off you the way Amazon can, and do, on a Kindle.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Kobo Clara BW 16GB Wi-Fi E-Reader - Black.
This depends on the eBook and where/how it was purchased or downloaded, due to something called Digital Rights Management.
If the eBooks were purchased through the Kobo Store and are linked to their Kobo account, simply logging into the same Kobo account on their new device and syncing will automatically download all their purchased eBooks to the new device.
For eBooks not purchased through Kobo, or for transferring files directly, they can connect their Kobo devices to a computer and copy DRM-free e-pub or pdf files from the old Kobo to the new Kobo.
If some eBooks have DRM protection, removing DRM is necessary to transfer files between different Kobo accounts or to another device.
