So much fun
Love love love this. I bought it to help with my small business marketing - branded stickers, cards etc. It's really unleashed my creativity though. It's not very intuitive to set up but plenty of YouTube videos to help and you get there eventually. Definitely glad I got this over the small Cricut Joy, plus the additional things like mat, vinyl etc. are essential, so this was definitely the right starter kit for me.

You do not need a Cricut Access subscription. This gives you access to a huge library of ready made cutting files, images and projects. You can either buy individual images as you require them, design with the free shapes within Design Space or upload your own images - either items you have created yourself or images from Canva or elsewhere. All you need to run the Cricut is Design Space which is free to download.

The Mug Press is designed to be compatible with all Cricut cutting machines, including the Cricut Joy Xtra. You can use it to create custom mugs using Infusible Ink materials, which are optimized for the Mug Press.

The Cricut Joy Xtra will work with the mug press. You will need a phone, laptop or tablet to use the Cricut Design Space app which controls the Cricut Joy Xtra. This starter pack does NOT come with materials for a mug transfer. The Heat Transfer Vinyl in this starter pack is for fabric only. You will have to buy mug transfer material separately.
