Bright, twinkly and just what we needed. We're using it indoors (in a bedroom window, above our light up nativity scene which is outside lower down the house wall) but it can also be used outdoors.

How to set the timer:
Plug in the lights.
Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the green indicator light comes on. This sets the timer to stay on for 8 hours and then turn off for 16 hours, Habitat UK https://www.habitat.co.uk/product/2723000,... Habitat UK.
How to turn the timer off:
Press and hold the power button again for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns white. This will turn the lights off completely, and you can then manually turn them on or off as needed.
