The Tower 42L square sensor bin gives you hygienic hands-free waste disposal. Featuring advanced infrared sensor technology, all that's needed is a simple hand swipe over the sensor and the lid automatically opens, removing the need to touch a contaminated surface. The lid will close after 5 seconds of inactivity. The colour coated steel body construction helps make this bin easy to clean and maintain. 1 year warranty as standard, additional 4 years extended warranty available if the product is registered within 28 days of purchase.

Very Poor Item
The first bin I collected was damaged so I exchanged it and the 2nd bin had no damage when we checked instore but when I got home and installed 4 new batteries the sensor didn't work? tried different make batteries and still nothing so returned for a refund absolute junk !

Very nice bin and really good value for money.
I have been using this bin for the last week. It had a slight wobble when it wouldn’t work but a quick ‘off and on’ job seems to have resolved the issue. Aside from that, I have zero complaints about the bin.

"I can confirm that this bin is sensitive to any movement meaning if a dog was to walk in front the sensor lid would open."

There is a lip on the bin that rips all the bags as you take them out, worst bin Ive ever had
Of course there is a part of inner edge rolled to the inside of bin that will catch and tear bin bags.Poor design.
Thats why I am getting rid of this bin asap.

I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows:
There should not be a part on the Tower 42 Litre Sensor Bin lid that catches the bin bags as they are taken out. The bin comes with a retainer ring to hold the bin bags in place.
