Cheaper than a new TV and super fast
Love this streamer. It was fairly expensive but cheaper than buying a new TV which is what I would. Of had to of done without one. It's so fast and easy to use. I love it

Next Generation
Bought this to replace my ageing Chromecast with Google TV which was constantly showing low memory warnings and kept disconnecting from my router. Even though the unit cost twice the old 1080p Chromecast I had to buy a high quality HDMI cable separately, but after that set up was easy. The picture is better, even on a non 4K TV, digital sound latency synchronisation required 0 delay against 30msec with the Chromecast. Updated itself seamlessly and now has Gemini if AI is your thing. The unit is much bigger than the old chromecast, and comes with its own power supply, but even so it easy enough to hide behind the TV.

Not that great!
I bought this to replace my Amazon Firestick 4K Max assuming that it would be a more superior product, Unfortunately, it is not! It was nice to get rid of the Amazon marketing and have some better control over my device, but as far as Audio/Video compatibility goes, it is substandard compared to the Firestick (and yet twice the price!). The remote is missing transport buttons (compared to the Amazon remote), although actually this wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The HDMI CEC/IR control of the TV is flaky at best, and sometimes after turning my TV off, it will just randomly come back on. Overall, I'm not particularly impressed and am disappointed that I missed the return Window.
