Google TV Streamer 4K
Absolutely love this. It streams perfectly. Had Sky Stream so this box is very similar but without the Sky channels. Didn’t have the sport or movie channels so got rid of Sky to save a few quid. However I do have Netflix and Prime and this Google Streamer 4K box has those apps. Just 3 months Sky subscription equates to what the Google Streamer costs. Like I say, I think it’s an absolute bargain even though some reviewers say it’s slightly overpriced.

Great product for home entertainment
I already had experience with the Google Chromecast so the TV Streamer was a no brainer. It's faster, than the Chromecast.The menu is the same, there are some adds but they don't bother me too much. I hope they don't discontinue the ability to side load apps.If this continues, it's quite the perfect device for home entertainment. I was thinking to buy the Nvidia shield, but ultimately because I already know the Chromecast and didn't recharge any issues, I chose to go ahead with the TV Streamer.

Much quicker
Excellent. My old chromecast was getting a bit slow and unresponsive. This one feels a lot better and the find remote feature has been very useful.

Great features and so much faster than the fire tv
After getting fed up of how slow the fire tv had become. I started looking for an alternative, and settled on the Google TV streamer. And I don't regret it for a second. It runs every app I throw at it and loads so much faster. And the find remote feature comes in handy every time the wife loses the remote.

Google at it's best
Fast, easy to setup and excellent picture and sound quality. I'd definitely recommend this over the pre installed TV streamer/programme manager. All the major service providers are available plus the benefits of the Google Home App.

New Google TV Streamer
I bought it to replace the old and unsupported Google dongle, mainly used for streaming videos from my laptop to the TV. It's definitely an upgrade as it allows access to different streaming services and, in fact, it makes unnecessary streaming a tab from Google Chrome since you can now just link the Google app to Disney+ or Apple TV+ or whatever streaming service you are subscribed to. The main issue, which makes me remove one star from the maximum rating, is that the remote seems to consume its battery very fast, astonishingly fast. Granted, you can always use it from an Android phone, but still...
