Bought as a present for my birthday. Nice lightweight radio/cd player to replace old one. Lovely crisp clear sound. Dad radio doesn’t always work in some areas of my house so have to move it around . So reasonably happy

Great
I had to return the first one as the controls were unresponsive. But the second one is great and I'm glad I took a chance to try another one. The time set itself and it scanned immediately for the radio stations without me having to do anything. I haven't set any radio presets yet. It's great to have the ability to play my CD's. The sound is very good and clear. There were comments on other reviews about the cable not staying in but I think there's a wrong ang right way round. It's been OK for me after turning it round. It's a nice compact little unit and doesn't take up lots of room. I'm really happy with it and think it's good value for money.

This not good quality from Roberts, I expected bet
The mains lead would not stay in place, with consequential loss of program or, worse when playing recorded music, the track had to be re-set. Also, the font and buttons are minute! I had to use a magnifier.

Nice unit
Bought this with some trepidation after reading the reviews. Found it to have some quirks. The display must be read square on up/down/sideways is poor. When plugged in ( no problem with the lead ) it lights up even when the unit is in standby. There is no clear indication when you switch on. This means you can find yourself in the timer mode if you don't remember to switch on first. Other than that sounds ok, DAB scanned without issues and the clock set itself. Not tried on battery yet but nice unit overall and sound quality is acceptable for the money.

The USB port is for input and mobile phone charging, this cannot be used as an output.
