About this product
The Roberts Zoombox 4 is a portable DAB and FM boombox that combines radio, CDs and Bluetooth streaming in a compact package you can move from room to room or take outdoors. With 60 preset stations across DAB and FM, a CD player that handles rewritable discs, and Bluetooth connectivity for your phone or tablet, you have many ways to enjoy music whether your favourite radio shows, old albums, or streaming playlists. The stereo speakers deliver clear sound for casual listening, and it's compact enough to fit on a kitchen counter, bedroom shelf, or garden table without taking over.
You get 5 EQ presets to tweak the sound to your liking, a sleep timer for bedtime listening, and an LCD display with adjustable brightness that's easy to read in any light. The USB port lets you charge devices or play audio files directly, and there's a headphone socket if you want to listen without disturbing anyone. It runs on mains power or batteries (1 C battery included), so you're not tied to a socket if you fancy moving it around. Setup's straightforward, and you get a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee for peace of mind.

Rubbish
Dreadful very difficult to use and mediocre sound don’t buy
No use
Twnety years on
Much better sound quality than the ancient CD player / FM and AM radio we'd had before, If you're looking to buy a machine that looks like this make sure you check out the specifications - compare like with like or you will likely be disappointed. For background music this Roberts Portable will tick the boxes no problem.

Not easy to use
I bought this to be able to listen to music during the day, without having the TV on.I thought that the quality was poor for a Roberts radio

Excellent DAB signal
Bought a static caravan where the FM signal was diabolical (could only pick up one station) so purchased this as it also had DAB. Still only picks up the one FM station but the DAB reception is excellent with numerous channels available. Easy to set up. CD player works fine Sound quality isn't first class (but sufficient) so only giving it 4 stars and not 5
