A railway for a city
My son was desperate to get a lego train and we did at Christmas however, he’s really wanted to be able to set up a complex system around the city. My review would just have been ‘more track - great’ except that it has smaller tracks which are flexible in this set. These have allowed more complex layouts but also allowed us to use a couple to nudhe round a building and link up bits of track that would hVe popped apart.

I bought this as an add on to the Lego train set. There are enough track pieces and shapes to extend the existing track.

Dont buy for the creator train!
I bought this track to go along with the creator train I bought for my son. The train is shown on the track in a photo and there's a link to all the train sets and track along with the train but the creator train is too small for the track. No where on either the train or the track does it say this. I bought this for my autistic son for Christmas who is now super disapointed as he was very much looking forward to making train tracks around around the house. And we bought 2 packs plus the splitter track set for a train that wont fit! This needs to be rectified on your site so no one else disapoints children with this track!

the set contains three different tracks and the dimensions for them in centimetres are:

“ Since LEGO® 4564 - STARTER SET was retired in 1996, we cannot guarantee compatibility. However, based on the size of the tracks included in both sets, they appear to be compatible with each other. ”

The extra tracks 60205 isn't compatible with 40700 Winter Holiday Train.
The extra tracks fit the larger train sets and primarily set 10254 Winter Holiday Train, which is a much larger set.
