About this product
The Hisense HI8421BSC Electric Induction Hob offers generous cooking space across 4 zones, ideal for hosting or meal prep. The bridge zone links two areas to create one large heating surface, ensuring even heat for oversized griddles and fish kettles. The rapid boil function delivers a powerful heat boost to bring big pots to the boil or sear steaks, then drops to a gentle simmer after 5 minutes. The smooth induction surface wipes clean easily, and front-mounted touch controls keep adjustments simple.
With power ranging from 5.7kW to 7.6kW, you've got plenty of flexibility for everything from delicate sauces to fast stir-fries. Induction heats the pan directly, so you get precise temperature control and quick response times. It fits a standard built-in aperture and needs hardwiring into a dedicated cooker circuit on the wall. The black finish suits most kitchens, and it comes with a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee.
Bridge Zone - Create one large heat source by bridging two separate cooking zones in the touch of a button. Maintaining a consistent temperature across both zones, it gives you the ability to accommodate larger pots and pans.
Rapid Boil - Need a boost of heat, use Rapid Boil. This setting is not just great for boiling pasta, it's ideal for searing steaks and flash frying seafood. After being activated for 5 minutes, the temperature will automatically reduce back to a low simmer.

Hi6401BSC induction hob. Good but poor layout.
I have had this induction hob a couple of weeks now after getting it installed. It works well but the layout is backward. The large pan ring is front left with the smallest ring behind it. Whoever designed it obviously does not do any cooking. I managed to scald my wrist on the steamer on the front while stiring sauce in the pan behind it! Be warned. When I upgrade I will definitely try to do more research on the layout. The instruction for use are worse than useless too. Gives no actual useful info on how the things work.

Hisense induction hob
We bought the 80cm induction hob to replace our old one. This new hob is very sleek looking and the looks are backed up with very efficient operation. Very happy with the purchase and the price.

New induction hob
This is still new and had limited use. One issue is it is difficult to see the pan markings, would like to see them made clearer. Would like to have had half steps on rings. Did not come with fitting clips.

I bought this just over a month ago. It is easy to use and simple to clean

Excellent product just needs a certain idea
I brought the HI SENSE BUILT IN OVEN AND A HOB. DUE TO A DISABILITY IT WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL TO HAVE HAD A VIDEO OR LINK TO THE ACTUAL MODEL I HAD BROUGHT. I FOUND OTHER MODELS BUT NOT MINE AND THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME. It took me a while to understand and people with certain disibilities such mine (brain) need visual instructions. My only critisim. They even came with 3 yr warranty.

Good looking hob
This was delivered on Fri so minimal opportunities to use it as yet. However, my first impressions are that the instruction booklet is not very clear. It seems easy to use. I am a trial and error type of person so found it relatively easy just using common sense. It appears slow compared to my old Trinity hob but perhaps I will discover how to speed it up.

Easy to use good looking hob
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first Hisense hob 3 years ago used it almost daily and was very happy with it. The new model became available and was glad to have the opportunity to test the new hob for the past two weeks. The installation was easy as we previously had induction but even the first time it did not take much time. The hob needs a main connection, that would be the only challenge for someone installing it for the first time. The first improvement I noticed was that the new hob has a timer and is perfect for something that needs to simmer for a set number of minutes. They also added the connection zone which I tried and was impressed on how uniform the food was cooked. The hob is very easy to clean and maintain. The controls are all in the front for easier access and they also can be locked so no one can power it by mistake. Overall, I’m very pleased with the new model. The only con would be the noise which during the day is fine but at night it can be a bit loud. I already recommended the hob to my friends and will continue to do so!

Installing an oven under the induction hob is possible for oven models with a cooling fan and the kitchen cabinet rear wall has to be removed in the area of the opening for installation.
