A Good Investment
I purchased this item a few weeks ago to replace another machine, (not Bosch) that had come to the end of its life. The reason that I went for this model from Bosch was because the fan, which is the main component id made of metal and not plastic. This is very important because it is impossible not to pick up dirt and small stones as you use the machine and this causes plastic fan blades to be worn away quite quickly. So far I am very pleased with the performance of this unit as it has both powerful blowing and suction actions that are ideal for wet leaves on the lawn and in the tight corners of the garden. It is a bit fiddly to change from suction to blow buy no tools are required.

Does the job
Vacuum and blower works well, but takes time to get use to controlling the power. Takes a few minutes to swap the parts to switch between blowing and vacuum, this also means sorting out where you store the attachments not connected when not in use.

This was brought to clear the grounds of a care home. I have been super happy with the purchase. There is a decent amount of power to the fan. The shredding mechanism also works well.

Powerful but weighty
Bought to replace Flymo Vac which is now discontinued. Very powerful motor, excellent suction, only negatives are the assembly could be tricky as you need to check correct alignment of parts, also necessary to partly reassemble to use as a blower, also the Bosch is weighty to use. The vacuum has variable speed which can be helpful, but has no on off trigger, so takes a little getting used to. Generally a much more effective vacuum compared to others we have tried.

It’s ok
I found it difficult to move around. It does have decent suction but don’t use on wet forage as it gets blocked at the ‘clip on’ part on suction pipe. This in turn makes the motor clogged. Decent kit although smaller suction pipes could be considered for nooks and crannies!

Great Bit of Kit !
Our neighbours tree deposits 90% of it's leaves on our garden. I bought this to replace a Bosch 2500W leaf blower/vacuum that I have had for years. I was never very happy with that one, but this model is a massive improvement on that one. Looks like Bosch have addressed most of the issues with the old one, its easier to change from vacuum to blower and is much more sturdy. The metal fan really helps cutting leaves up and it doesn't get blocked as the previous one did. My wife thinks I am a bit of a saddo for getting so excited about a leaf vacuum/blower, but it really makes the job much easier than the old one..
