About this product
Clearing autumn leaves or tidying winter debris? The Bosch Corded Garden Tidy is a 3-in-1 tool that blows, vacuums and shreds without the hassle. It's a 3000W corded machine that delivers consistent power for the whole job. You'll switch between modes quickly to match the task at hand. The ProSilence technology reduces sound levels so you won't disturb neighbours during weekend sessions. Variable speed control lets you adjust power output in both blow and vacuum modes. The metal fan withstands regular use and handles blockages safely when they occur.
You'll collect garden waste efficiently with the 50 ls capacity bag. The mulch function compresses leaves and debris for fewer trips to empty. Moisture-repellent dirt deflectors on the bag divert water and waste to the ground. It's got a 10m cable so you'll cover larger areas without switching sockets. The padded shoulder strap reduces fatigue during longer clearing sessions. This corded tool means no battery concerns when you're tackling bigger gardens.

Customers Say
Powerful Bosch Garden Tidy excels at leaf vacuuming and blowing, with strong suction and mulching. It's a bit heavy and switching modes can be fiddly, but overall effective and well-built.

Good, but beware...
Works well as a blower and a vac. Reasonably easy to change from one to the other and light enough to be used for some time. No more noisy than others and is more controllable. On the downside, hard items such as beech nuts or their casings etc. will damage the turbine housing, though it is available as a spare. The designed-in fail point is still the turbine blade. Whilst this is apparently robust metal, it is NOT replaceable on its own despite looking as such - a replacement is sold as one with a new motor, so they've got you there. This is a consumable part, but sold as one with a part that costs nearly as much as a new blower/vac and requires a degree of experience to change. The life of the turbine blade is thus the life of the blower/vac, similar to the washing machine bearing rip-off. Don't suck up ANY stones! This is designed to fail, designed to be your fault.

Give it time!
I bought this a couple of weeks or so ago and I’m not going to disguise the fact it is heavy. The motor unit is very heavy. Once you put on the front handle and the strap it feels more balanced. But it takes some getting used to. You have to get everything the correct length over your shoulder and practise the technique. It does become easier as you use it. It works extremely well. I’ve only used it on the lowest setting and it is fine. It sucks leaves off border stones and doesn’t suck up the stones. It’s a reasonable noise level on the two lowest settings. But if you turn it up to max it’s quite a lot louder. It’s very easy to alter the speed and reasonably easy to empty the bag. On the lowest setting it doesn’t lift or munch up little crab apples but makes short work of the leaves the trees are shedding in the drought. Plus all the other bits our garden trees are dropping on the patio. I haven’t used the blower yet. Maybe in autumn. So I’ve not dealt with big volumes. I’d have preferred cordless but the reviews weren’t great. I’m 72 and can manage it. Putting it together took a minute. But again. I managed it on my own. Give it time to get used to and I think you’ll find it’s a great piece of kit. It’s growing on me!!

Good for stubborn lime seed clearance
The seeds of small-leaved lime trees tend to get stuck in our lawn, and we get a lot of them. The Bosch Garden Tidy does a good job of sucking them up and mulching them (more effective than a moderately powered leaf blower that would not dislodge them). The unit is moderately heavy and suffers from moderate vibration and noise which means it looses a star off the rating. Overall it does the job it was purchased for.

Great piece of equipment
I bought this leaf blower and vacuum last week. Had one exactly the same before, was very happy with it. It had very good suction/blowing action, good length cable, easy to use and empty. So immediately wanted to get the same Bosch 3000w as I use it all year round.

Overall I'm happy with it.
I mainly bought this for the blower function and was not expecting much from the vacuum function. I have not used it a great deal so far but actually both functions seem to work pretty well. The fan sometimes gets a bit clogged when mulching but not too much of an issue. It's not quiet but it's not excessively noisy. Capacity of the mulching bag is good but it's a bit fiddly to empty. Overall I'm happy with it.

Metal vacuum fan makes a big difference
So far I have only used the vacuum part of the unit and with the unit on minimum it can suck up wisteria blossoms on a shingle drive without sucking up the shingle, perfect this time of the year. Very quiet on low speed. At maximum lots of vacuum but obviously gets quite noisy. Previously I had a cheap garden vac and hardly lasted a season. With this one so far so good and would recommend.

Best Sucker
Best sucker I have ever purchased. Metal cruncher as opposed to plastic makes it virtually unblockable.
